Our driving mitts are the result of the meeting between know-how and our passion for the automobile. We wanted to resurrect the most emblematic gloves of the 50s and 60s. Moss or Fangio, to name a few, proudly wore these crochet mittens while driving their cars.
To make these men's driving mittens, we work with craftsmen with inimitable know-how. Cotton crochet is still knitted by hand as it was then. Only this technique allows you to obtain an elegant pattern and a robust mesh, while ensuring good ventilation of the hand. We have chosen to combine it with lambskin, of French origin and renowned for its comfort and feel. The craftsmen use the "English piqué" technique to marry the back and the palm.
As on our velor driving gloves, we have affixed our Stradale emblem, the wheel butterfly, on the closing tab.

MAINTENANCE TIPS :
In order to prolong the life of your Stradale driving gloves, we advise you to gently stretch them lengthwise after wearing them. The gloves will thus return to their original shape. Over time and/or intensive use, the skin of the gloves may dry out slightly. It is advisable to feed it with a leather milk or a baby milk. The skin will regain suppleness and radiance. If unfortunately you notice a stain on the palm side, you can apply a diluted mild soap to a damp cloth. Then apply the milk to nourish the leather.
SIZE GUIDE :
To know your hand circumference, measure the circumference of the palm (without the thumb) at the joints using a tape measure and refer to the table below. Driving gloves fit snugly, and if you are between sizes, we advise you to choose the smaller size.
Hand circumference (cm) | 20 | 21,5 | 23 |
Glove size | S (8) | M (8,5) | L (9) |
